Did you know that babies form 1 million new brain connections per second? The first year is a period of rapid brain development and it all starts with the development of motor skills and sensory systems. This six week online programme focuses on maximising those brain connections and your baby's motor and sensory development so that she/he reaches all those important developmental milestones. The programme is delivered by an expert paediatric physiotherapist with 17 years of experience working with children, an MSc (Paediatrics focused) and backed by the best available evidence. This programme will not only cover motor development but also perceptual (sensory) development and how both can be maximised through parent baby interaction and play to help your baby to reach their developmental milestones. This programme is one of a kind which is tailored to you and your baby. Due to the small group size (6 infants), there will be individual developmental milestones checks over video and practice of the following developmental positions/activities which will help baby to reach their developmental milestones successfully: Tummy time ​Back play ​Side lying ​Rolling ​Reflexes ​Each parent will be offered a complementary one to one video consultation involving assessment of where baby is at in terms of developmental milestones and goal setting for the programme. ​Each parent will be given access with their consent to all of the content covering various infant developmental topics including video recordings (in case classes are missed), presentations, handouts, leaflets regarding infant development, useful website links etc.
