Do you want to know more about how your baby is developing? ​Do you want to know what to look out for in your baby's development? ​Would you like to learn tips and tricks for tummy time, rolling and other gross motor skills? ​Would you like to get good quality, evidence based, expert and tailored advice from a highly specialised and HCPC registered paediatric physiotherapist in your child's development? ​Then why not book in for a baby MOT (video consultation from anywhere or clinic face 2 face) with specialist paediatric physiotherapist, Deirdre O' Donoghue, at Move Kids Physio. ​Like their Mummies, all babies deserve a full MOT to give them the best start in life. The Baby MOT offers a full and thorough assessment of baby's motor skills, neurological and physical development to date. Like your baby gets percentiles for height and weight, the baby MOT will provide you with a percentile for their overall motor development. The baby MOT will also provide you with a tailored programme of play based activities to maximise their developmental potential. ​Baby assessments are very important at an early age to screen for potential developmental and/or orthopaedic conditions which when spotted early are much easier to treat and babies are much more responsive to early intervention versus intervention when they are older. ​What the Baby MOT provides: - Full assessment of motor skills, neurological and physical development with standardised assessments with a highly specialised and experienced paediatric physiotherapist - Tailored home programme of play based activities, carrying, positioning as needed - Access to online educational materials including pre-recorded video content, education handouts, useful website links regarding infant development for 1 month If parents opt in for a follow up session - this can be requested at the initial appointment Reminder: Baby MOT can take place in clinic or online via secure video consultation. Cost can be reimbursed by health insurance as this is a physiotherapy service registered with both CORU in ROI and HCPC in the UK - please check with your provider about your cover for physiotherapy. ​
