The initial assessment or consultation appointment includes a highly specialised paediatric neurological, musculoskeletal, sensory (including a vestibular function screen) and standardised motor skills assessment as follows: 

​

Paediatric specialist neurodevelopmental and musculoskeletal assessment (0-16 years old)

• 60 minutes duration​ of the initial appointment.

• Includes parent interview and observational, physical and standardised assessments of movement patterns, motor skills, neurological/brain, vestibular/balance, musculoskeletal development

• Includes a written visual (picture based) or video based home programme - based on parent preference

• Summary report/onward referral letter will incur an extra cost of £20

Paediatric specialist bladder and bowel assessment (4-16 years old) 

• 60 minutes duration of the initial appointment.

• Includes parent interview and assessments of pelvic floor and core muscle function, posture, motor skills, neurological/brain, vestibular/balance, musculoskeletal development as well as diet, fluid intake, bladder and bowel questionnaire/s.

• Includes a written visual (picture based) or video based home programme - based on parent preference as well as education in bladder and bowel dysfunction, use of bladder and bowel diary for home as needed.

• Includes liaison with appropriate medical personnel ie consultant/GP as appropriate and with parent consent.

• Summary report/onward referral letter will incur an extra cost of £20
